This course introduces the applications and principles behind the Internet of Things (IoT). This course covers the infrastructure-related architectures, technologies and protocol frameworks that enable IoT. The course will expose the participants to the use of these technologies for various applications:

• Overview of Internet of Things.

• IoT protocols and systems.

• Learn Building blocks and construct real time IoT products/Solutions.

• Sensors and Hardware for IoT

• Get hands-on sessions with IoT hardware platform such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino etc.,

• IoT cloud platforms: MS Azure, AWS IoT, and IBM Bluemix.

• Design solutions for integrating smart objects into IoT framework(s).

• Construct your own IoT project
