NUTRITION WORKSHOP

How many diets have you tried? Why do diets fail? This workshop will address fad diets, food groups and “normal- size” portions, as well as how to enjoy all foods and lose body fat. Students
will get healthy eating ideas for all meals and learn what it takes to go from “yo-yo dieter” to a healthy individual – for life!
Instructor: Marisa Schor is a lifelong exercise enthusiast. A former certified Spinning Instructor, she is now certified as a Group Exercise Instructor by
the American Fitness and Aerobics Association. She also has CPR and AED certification for adults and children. Since 2002, she has trained in Latin dance including salsa, cha-cha, merengue, samba and bachata.
Class requirements: Tablet or computer with internet capability; notebook or binder for class activities. (Instructor will provide handouts before class.)
Cost: $79
Dates and times: Choose Session 1 or 2
Session 1: Jan. 31 and Feb. 7 (two Sundays), 3-5 p.m.
Session 2: April 6 and 13 (two Tuesdays), 6-8 p.m.
VIRTUAL ZUMBA (587*)
Zumba combines hypnotic Latin rhythms with easy-to-follow moves, creating a dynamic fitness program. The goals are simple – to work out and to love working out! Zumba enthusiasts achieve long- term health benefits while experiencing an exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, body- energizing, awe-inspiring movements that are meant to engage and captivate for life! The routines feature intermittent training sessions, with fast and slow rhythms combined with resistance training to tone and sculpt the body.
