Approval of Minutes

Advisor Announcements

• Maritza: Faculty Director position effective beginning of January 2026 (Maritza for ICC, Dayna will be with DASG Flea Market and Jenny will go back to the original department at De Anza College). If funding for permanent position is approved next week then hopefully we can start the hiring process as soon as possible. Working to get the position filled by winter quarter but will provide more updates regarding that as soon as we have them. 
  • Peer Evaluations / Self Evaluations have been sent out, 
  • Dayna: Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy your 4 days off. I am thankful for every one of you. Please know that we all work together to make things happen so that we can continue to do the good work we do in student government and clubs.

Student Trustee Announcements

External Shared Governance Committee Reports

• RAPP: Met on Tuesday and working to fill positions including; not hiring for Classified this quarter. Next week will vote on non instructional faculty and there's no space for any Classified positions at De Anza.

Internal DASG Committee Reports

• Administration: Admin met and discussed updating campus posting guidelines as well as intern projects. Next quarter, if you missed 25% of shared governance meeting it will count as 1 unexcused absence. If 50% of the meetings are missed, it will count as a 2nd unexcused absence and a 3rd time will be an automatic removal. 
• Finance: First finance bonding after meeting on Monday, had Krispy Kreme donuts. Interns are more connected and engaged this quarter. 
• Events: If field hours are needed you can support De Stress on December 1 & 2.

Basic Needs Hub

• Min motioned to move Business Item 1 to after Business Item 5, Salvador seconded the motion, no objections. 
• Casie presented the items. 
• Discussion on the items took place including current events surrounding food insecurity.

Business Item 2

Inter Club Council (ICC) Budget Request

• Dayna presented the item. 
• Request to hire an additional student assistant designated for ICC to be able to assist with the 80+ active clubs and support with answering questions for the 
• Discussion took place. 
• Salvador motioned to approve the budget request of $10,650 for the Inter Club Council (ICC) from Special Allocations, including $10,500 for student salaries (line code 2310) and $150 for hourly benefits (line code 3200), Lakshya seconded the motion, no objections.

De Anza Flea Market Budget Request

• Jenny presented the item. 
• Lakshya motioned to approve the budget request of $14,000 for the De Anza Flea Market from Special Allocations for line code (4010), Ben seconded the motion, no objections.

• Salvador motioned to table the item indefinitely, Dali seconded the motion, no objections.
