VarelaFHDA collaborated with other districts to persuade the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO) to delay AB19 program cuts from FY25/26 to FY26/27. Funding remains at $2.5M in FY25/26. Need to plan for a drop to $1.2M in FY26/27 (about a 54% cut). 4:00 p.m. Dining Services Closure June 30, 2025 I
VarelaOn July 1, De Anza College Dining Services will close & the college will transition to Pacific Dining. Current Dining Services staff will either retire or move to other positions within the district. A farewell event will be held on June 18. 4:10 p.m. Agenda Items/Quick News
