Ethics and Sustainability


Course Description

This is an upper-division general education business course. It is open only to students enrolled in a Baccalaureate Degree Program. It is a critical and reflective exploration of moral issues that arise in the business world and a review of a variety of moral theories that might be applied to them. After completing this course, students should be able to recognize, analyze, and critique business ethics arguments commonly encountered in contemporary academic literature and public dialogue, as well as articulate their perspective on and approach to managing ethical issues that commonly arise in the American workplace.
