Data Abstraction and Structures
Course Description
Application of software engineering techniques to the design and development of large programs, including a team project, with an emphasis on data abstraction and structures and associated algorithms: stacks, queues, linked lists, trees, graphs, and hash tables. This course also covers recursion and advanced sorting algorithms.

CIS -022C-03Y: HYBRID, meets on-campus and online. ALL CLASS EXAMPLES AND ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE IN PSEUDOCODE OR C++. STUDENT PROGRAMMING ASSIGNMENTS ARE ACCEPTED IN C++ ONLY. The lecture meets each week as noted in the class listing. The laboratory does not have scheduled meetings and can be completed independently each week on the student's own time.
