Welcome to De Anza College! We’re excited to welcome you this winter quarter as you
begin an important chapter in your academic, career, and personal journey. Your success
is our priority, and we are committed to supporting you every step of the way.
To help you start strong, we invite you ROAR: Real-time Onboarding, Advising, and Registration event designed for new students. ROAR is a wonderful opportunity to get connected, explore campus resources and feel confident as you prepare for the quarter ahead.

At ROAR, you will:
- Get introduced to the CONNECT Program and learn how it supports you throughout your first year
- Learn about resources and support programs and services at De Anza College
- Receive key information about transfer pathways and degree completion
- Get hands-on support with selecting and finalizing your winter quarter courses based on your academic and transfer goals (and your comprehensive education plan)
- Meet new friends while enjoying a bagel and refreshment
